Your Dream Team
Christy Leeferink
Director
Supporting people through real help in real time, with compassion, empathy, and care for each person’s unique circumstances.
Hi, I’m Christy. I founded Psychology in the Park with a desire to offer real help in real time from real people. As a working professional, wife, and mother of an adult daughter and teenage son, I am familiar with the pressures our fast-paced world can place on families and individuals.
I understand how these pressures can impact our ability to navigate our inner world. My goal is to provide a safe, kind, and compassionate space where patients can work through their unique circumstances and begin to find meaning within them.
My Therapeutic Approach
My approach is grounded in a deep love of human psychology and a strong commitment to empathy. I believe support should be tailored to each individual’s needs, creating space for personal growth, healing, and meaningful reflection.
My work draws from:
Empathy
Mindfulness
Contemporary therapeutic practices
Holistic well-being
Innovative approaches tailored to individual needs
Compassionate support
As Director of Psychology in the Park, I lead the team in creating approaches that support each patient as a whole person. My vision is not only to address immediate concerns but also to foster long-term resilience and empowerment.
My Areas of Focus
I support patients who are navigating personal, family, and inner-world challenges shaped by the pressures of a fast-paced world. My work is focused on helping people feel supported, understood, and empowered as they work through their unique circumstances.
Areas I support include:
